Disney Inspires Students With Disney Dreamers Academy

If Disney is a dream job for a young person you know, Disney Dreamers Academy is accepting applications.

Right now, those who want to jump-start a career, conquer some life goals or just want to pursue their dreams can set their sights on Walt Disney World and Orlando, Florida, which turns into a vibrant classroom for 100 select students ages 13-19 who are invited to participate in the outside-the-classroom mentoring program scheduled for March 21-24, 2019,

The program has been ongoing for more than a decade, preparing students with hands-on immersive career training through seminars, celebrity speakers and other disciplines. Participants gain communication skills, networking strategies and insight into achieving their life goals.

Now, in its second decade, the program has evolved to also focus on challenging young people through the “Be 100” campaign that builds on the success and experiences of previous participants who have completed the program and gone on to become doctors, nurses, engineers, publicists, journalists and more.

Applicants answer essay questions and are judged on a combination of attributes, including strong character, positive attitude and determination to achieve their dreams.

The Disney Dreamers Academy is a four-day, all expenses paid experience at Walt Disney World and those interested can apply at DisneyDreamersAcademy.com. Applications are being accepted through October 31, 2018. A parent or guardian must accompany each student who is accepted.
