Kohler Co. Expands its Chicago Presence

Kohler Co. is expanding its spa offerings in the Chicago area with the opening of a property in Lincoln Park.

The new spa, Kohler Waters Spa Lincoln Park, is to be part of a six-acre crossroads development that includes numerous restored and revitalized structures. It is the brand’s second spa in Chicago. The first Kohler property, located in Burr Ridge, was named the #1 Day Spa in Chicago in 2012.

MORE Hotel & Resort

The upcoming Kohler Waters Spa Lincoln Park will feature 21 treatment rooms on two floors, luxe indoor and outdoor relaxation areas, a manicure and pedicure finishing salon, hair salon and hydromassage pool in a thermal suite.

With water being a central theme at all Kohler Waters spas, special attention will be paid to hydrotherapy experiences including water experiences for all five senses and a hydrotherapy circuit with a sauna, cool plunge pool and steam room.

The hydromassage pool is designed to take restoration to the next level with massaging jets that target the body at varying heights starting with the calves, leading through the glutes and back, and concluding with a powerful gooseneck showerhead for the neck and shoulders.

Additional highlights of the new property include Kohler custom Vichy Showers and a co-ed lounge with an indoor relaxation space and outdoor patio seating.

The spa menu will offer a variety of signature services as well as seasonal services unique to the Lincoln Park location.

The property’s debut is slated for June 2019.

The flagship location of the Kohler Waters Spa at The American Club in Kohler, Wisconsin, two hours north of Chicago is one of only 60 Forbes Five-Star spas in the world.
