On Saturday of last week, dozens of child patients at M.D. Anderson, Shriners Hospital were treated by United Airlines to a trip to the “North Pole” in order to take part in holiday-related activities and presents from Santa Claus. United Airlines has been conducting these trips for children for over 20 years.
“It’s a real pleasure,” said a United Airlines senior manager. “It is a promotion of family, faith, hope. It’s really hard to see these children, especially the young ones.”
