In response to a request for transparency from jetBlue Airways in its business dealings with Air Canada, United Airlines claimed that the carrier’s letter to the Department of Transportation regarding concerns about antitrust immunity was “speculative, misleading and meritless.”
This does not mean that United has no plans for joint ventures with Air Canada; United simply has no plans to make information about it either way public.
