Flying on a plane when there are children onboard can be stressful, but one drunk woman was blatantly disrespectful about the common situation and removed from her flight last week as a result.
According to The Metro, 32-year-old Valerie Gonzalez was on a JetBlue flight as it prepared to depart from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport to Las Vegas when she found out she would be sitting next to a woman and her three-year-old child.
As a result, Gonzalez became upset and launched into a tirade. She admitted she had been drinking all day and had no intention of sitting next to the child for the five-plus-hour, cross-country flight to Nevada.
One of the passengers on the plane, Orlando Alzugaray, recorded the incident and shared it on Twitter. The video contains strong language:

The video shows the woman complaining to someone on her phone before standing up and gathering her belongings to leave the plane. As passengers begin filming her reaction, she allegedly spat on the woman in front of her.
After exiting the plane before it took off from Florida, the woman tried to board the flight again but a JetBlue agent denied her entry. Gonzalez reportedly struck the employee over the head and was arrested and charged with battery.
