According to cabin crew union SNPNC, Air France employees were “arrested successively by police forces, interrogated under conditions that flout fundamental rights, charged, and for some detainees, [finally] released without explanation” after failure to upgrade an Argentinian magistrate’s daughter to Business Class. The passenger allegedly did not like her seatmate and demanded an upgrade.
“We are currently studying with our lawyers the possibilities of legal redress to obtain compensation for the préjudicie suffered by our colleagues and the profession,” said a statement from the union.
