Travelers looking to sail the Danube River with AmaWaterways will have added opportunities this summer.
Due to overwhelming demand, the cruise line has added several additional dates to its popular Danube River cruises. Guests can enjoy a customized eight-night itinerary that combines a seven-night cruise with one complimentary hotel night in the medieval city of Nuremberg, Germany.
The Legendary Danube visits Germany, Austria and Hungary. Guests cruise through Austria’s famous Wachau Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and stroll through Regensburg, another UNESCO city, on a walking tour.
There are opportunities for wine tasting in Austria, culinary tours in Bratislava, Slovakia, and hiking and biking at almost every stop.
The new dates include sailings on May 11, June 8, July 6, August 3, August 31, September 28, 2019.
The Blue Danube Discovery includes Hungary, Slovakia, Austria and Germany, and sails on the Rhine and Danube rivers, exploring the history, art and culture of the region with calls in Budapest, Vienna, Passau, Regensburg, Nuremberg and more.
The added dates include May 5, June 2, June 30, July 28, August 25, September 22, 2019.
Travelers sailing with AmaWaterways now have access to the cruise line’s new mobile app that keeps guests up to date with everything they need to know for their sailings and offers a way to share their experiences with friends and family at home.
And onboard with AmaWaterways guests will find all the comforts of home as well, with spacious staterooms, marble bathrooms, onboard cultural programs, a swimming pool, beauty salon, a fitness area and more.
