Princess Cruises announced its Regal Princess ship would become the second vessel in the fleet fully activated with Princess MedallionClass experiences.
Starting February 17, 2019, during Regal Princess’ Caribbean Season, the ship will provide passengers with the Princess OceanMedallion, a free wearable device that elevates the guest experience by delivering personalized service resulting in high guest satisfaction scores.

The OceanMedallion devices feature leading-edge technology, including fast ship boarding with OceanReady, on-demand beverage delivery and access to MedallionNet, the cruise line’s fast, reliable, affordable and unlimited Wi-Fi.
“Our guests have been absolutely wowed by OceanMedallion vacations on Caribbean Princess, and we are proud to roll-out the full Princess MedallionClass experience on Regal Princess starting early next year,” Princess Cruises president Jan Swartz said. “With two Princess MedallionClass ships sailing in the Caribbean, we continue on our path to fleet-wide activation providing even more guests an enhanced level of personalized service.”
Other innovative features of the Princess MedallionClass experience include keyless stateroom entry, OceanCompass navigation, MedallionPay, OceanCasino, OceanView, PlayOcean and much more.
The OceanMedallion was first unveiled by Carnival Corporation CEO Arnold Donald at CES 2017.
