The first situation that can disrupt your travel plans is having passport issues while traveling internationally. In order to travel internationally to or from the United States you need a passport. If you are trying to travel internationally for the first time, know that you will need a passport first. If you’re traveling internationally and have issues with your passport, like a lost or stolen passport, then you should visit the United States embassy in that city or find the embassy website or phone number and call. Visiting the Embassy will help you get a new passport issued fast.
Another situation that can disrupt your travel plans is having your license suspended. If you’re going for a road trip or using your license as your primary ID when flying, and it is expired, then you can experience issues with getting g transportation. You won’t be able to use your license to rent a car if it’s suspended either. This will make it difficult to get transportation when young get to your travel destination if you do manage to get where you are going which can cause issues as well. Make sure you keep your license valid.
The final situation that can disrupt your travel plans is flight delays. Flight delays can be an especially big issue if you have connecting flights, as delays to your first flight can make you miss a subsequent connecting flight. If your flight is delayed and it will impact your travel plans or a subsequent connection, talk to the gate agent for help to work out an optimal solution for your travel.
